A few weeks back we went out on Turkey Pond... decent place to go, unfortunately a bit too much trash around (don't walk barefoot at the put-in!) and then the highway noise. Given that it was still a nice peaceful place to go... but that sums up most places ...

backyard deer

Took a few pictures of the deer in the yard from inside... they were munching on what passes for a yard for about 20 minutes.
